Meet the Winners!
MUHAMMAD SHEHERIYAR JAVED
1st Place: $800
Muhammad Sheheriyar Javed, the winner of the December 2024 Demo Trading Competition, has been trading for two years. He discovered the competition through a website promoting various trading contests, which motivated him to participate. Throughout the competition, his strategy focused on using the MACD crossover combined with pivot points for entries, alongside money management and a risk-reward ratio that provided him with a competitive edge. His disciplined approach and consistency in applying these strategies helped him secure first place.
In reflecting on his experience, Muhammad shared, “This competition impacted my overall experience to the next level. I’ve learned that risk management is the key to future trading, and maintaining the right psychology is essential. Being patient and not greedy helped me stay on track. The execution of trades and real-time data on the Taurex platform was also particularly helpful.” Muhammad plans to continue his trading journey with ambitions to become a funded trader and eventually establish an office as a full-time trader, while also contributing to charity.
BRUNO IZERE
2nd Place: $500
Bruno Izere, a trader with three years of experience, secured second place in the December competition. His trading journey started in 2021, and while full of challenges, his resilience and commitment brought him to this achievement. He found the competition through an online search and was encouraged to participate by the recognition of Taurex as one of the best and most reliable brokers for trading competitions. Bruno’s strategy relied on swing trading, which allowed him to take fewer trades but with significant potential. His decision to avoid panic trading and maintain focus on growing his account, rather than chasing the first-place spot, helped him secure a winning position without putting pressure on himself.
Bruno reflected, “Taurex gave me the tools to succeed. The range of trading pairs, tight spreads, and high leverage were ideal for managing my risk and optimising my strategy. I didn’t panic when others overtook me. Instead, I focused on my account growth. The competition showed me that patience and risk management are the true keys to success in trading. AYMENE AMAOUCHE
3rd Place: $400
Aymene Amaouche is a rising star in the trading world. With three years of trading experience, he entered the competition driven by his passion for technical analysis and a deep interest in understanding the factors that affect financial markets. Aymene enjoyed the user-friendly interface of the Taurex trading app, which provided him with advanced tools to enhance his technical analysis. His strategy was based on identifying support and resistance points, analysing news, and respecting market trends, all of which contributed to his success. With an impressive 11 years of trading experience, Abla Hicheur ranked fourth in the December 2024 demo trading competition. When she found out about this opportunity, she decided to join the competition to test her skills in a competitive environment. Throughout the competition, Abla used a strategy based on simple technical analysis, focusing on key indicators such as RSI and adapting to the market’s changing conditions. As the competition progressed, she fine-tuned her approach, incorporating fundamental analysis and learning to manage volatility effectively. The competition not only helped Abla refine her trading strategies but also bolstered her confidence in her trading abilities.
